So much for free trade that the US has been crapping on about for as long as I can remember. That is until they just can't compete anymore. And it's not like their labor cost would be that high. The US notoriously pays very low wages. China has invested into technologies that create efficiencies. It is that simple and these tariffs will backfire on the US.
