I posted a while back that until the conversion period was over, we would not get a real indication of what the market is prepared to pay for CDX shares.
Trading of CDXO, conversion of CDXO, selling CDX to fund CDXO conversion, grabbing pips on the CDXO to CDX sell arbitrage, resetting the size of CDX holding post the close date etc etc etc. It all tended to muddy the waters around the share price - with the arbitrage opportunity continually pushing the SP towards 5c.
Its becoming clear now that period is behind us. Giving an opportunity for the share price to return to market value. Perhaps the recent broker reports suggesting to people that is a lot higher than 5c!
The significant amount of imminent news and the news calendar for 2022 are also prompting buyers.
Personally, if there were no news I'd see us moving steadily towards the 10c mark (~$100m MC). But it looks like Mobvoi news will arrive soon to "boost' that gentle rise
...
