With such revolutionary new features it's understandable that they would want to get the app as perfect as possible before release for maximum effect. I decompiled the last few APKs and there is a reasonably significant amount of new arty content being added with each new release - the most recent being on 22 Dec. Having said that - am still hopeful that we'll get an announcement very soon.
