Pissing in the news about what the Albemarle TO offer may mean for AZS, assuming it goes ahead.. Where does that leave Japan’s Sumitomo Corporation whom have a strategic downstream partnership with LTR? I can't see Albemarle having an appetite to supply a competitor? Hence leaving Sumitomo Corporation to secure a new upstream opportunity, Japan is lagging in the EV space, but they will ramp up, they have no choice. It maybe excellent timing for AZS in the development cycle to lock in a non-china supply agreement, if they are seeking to emulate the Pilbara story, a similar POSCO downstream partner like Sumitomo Corporation maybe in the cards (and less risky dealing with china). Understanding it's early days for AZS, we need a solid resource first.
