Firstlies AZS was valued at 22cents before the lithium discovery [They already have a high grade JORC nickel sulphides deposits and they were already in talks with some majors about it]. Nickel is highly sought after commodities and Mitsubishi recently announced they are looking for Nickels and there was a nickels take over recently too.
Secondlies you need to look at the size of the pegmatites and the number of the pegmatites
"In addition, it is possible AP011 and AP012 connect at depth. If that were to be the case, then we are looking at a very large deposit of 1.5km by 300m (at least) possibly very fertile deposit of Lithium."
Mates if that was the case then 1500 * 300 * 2.7 = 121.5mt from only those 2 pegmatites alone [not forgetting that there are 13 high priority pegmatites and +700 pegmatites in the projects area. The pegmatite swarm is contained in a very large area the potentials is insane].
The drilling programmes will tell the story as it unfolds. Does mineralization continue to the surface? Do the pegmatites join at depth? These questions will be answered by the drilling programme which is ramping up with 6 driller rigs coming onto the sites [Diamond drillers + RC drillers]. Until then we are speculating based on the data at hands. SQM liked what they saw and i am following the smart monies.
