Second one - because we know the pegmatites are flat lying, don't expect 100m+ intercepts because the surface is 100m wide. It will be dependent on the dip angle of the pegmatite and can also be over- or underexaggerated by topography.

True however it was a general formula for understanding volume and tonnage which is why I specifically didn't publish any of my own numbers. I don't publish my own blue-sky estimates due to some posters taking those estimates, which are speculative in nature, as gospel.
