Ever heard of Mt Holland? That's a hard rock project owned by SQM and Wesfarmers

By the way it was a standard CR with SQM being the sole investor at a premium to the SP at the time ~26c (before any drilling, just on rock chips)

AZS acquired 60% of this project from Mark Creasy.
It was Creasys land, they acquired 60% of it from him. Not the other way around. They didnt sell ownership.

Creasy is known for making some pretty big discoveries (he finds highly prospective land) - so no suprise the potential that's here. For example he found Nova which IGO now owns.

Creasy is known to make these types of deals. He finds and acquires highly prospective land. Then he JV it out and gives majority to the explorer (as they fund the exploration) and he keeps minority and is free carried until FID. Once the signing of a mining agreement is done he needs to contribute financially his 40% or by that stage he could sell it (which would be a positive as the price he sells for would give a valuation for AZS part and usually things are sold at a premium)

For now it's all about the assays and to see the results from the initial holes. It's looking very encouraging so far and based on the MD last presentation at RIU he seems pretty bullish. Nothing is without risk ofcourse
