people being scared of 3.5c placement somehow coming onto the market and tanking the price is folly in my opinion. GAM didn't decide to take an equity stake on this transaction (learning from their mistake of not doing this with wodgina and pilgangorra ) to just sell prior to any JORC resource or definition of what is in the ground. One might guess they are thinking what IF it is another producer like the two previous sites they sold, what that might mean for their investment.
not to mention they would have over 5% sub holding which would trigger ASX announcements if any amount is sold which would then be people's evidence of selling...
