Human innovation and development is an amazing thing if enough focus and dollars is thrown at improving something technological.

Moore was the gentleman in 1965 who suggested computer chips and memory etc of computers could double every 2 years because of R & D

He was proved to be basically correct … we now have the same memory access in an iPhone to that which was needed to take a man to the moon (and stored in a massive warehouse).

i think we may now be seeing the same sort of thing with EV batteries, thanks to groups like CATL (the worlds biggest EV battery group)

Great news for future EV car sales because many interested consumers have been sitting on the sidelines waiting for longer distances and longer life in the batteries.

A CATL 15 year warranty and/or 1.5 million kilometres of battery life may be just what the doctor ordered.

This has to be great news for the future of Australian lithium hard rock mining businesses, especially if you were lucky enough to have a sound commercial relationship with CATL.
