Holders are not holding for some 8.80 over the next 6 months that is less than what an at call deposit pays.

There is no way this calculas makes sense. No one is putting capital at risk for a 2.2% return on the basis this takeover will get through.

We are after more, much more.

I ran this sick puppy from $4 to $6.5 just before the takeover as i switched into upstream fossil (aka coal/ WHC) to see a 3x gain.

That upstream value (captured in coal) is now shifting downstream since it takes 12-18 months lag (e.g. AgL)

This bid does not reflect the transition of value downstream to Origins wholesale and retail businesses..... eg. their LNG trading business is expected to make "250-450" over FY24-25- just think about that???

Brookfield caught ORG at the start of its value shift (as most private equity / sponsor funds do) ... no independent report will come out swinging say it's in the best interest of shareholders - particularly when it has a 20% stake in a business that has 50% more customers than itself.
