Yes - bid stated that the bid price will increase by 4.5c per month from November until bid complete (but I don't know whether that is from 30th or some other date). That is only 1/2% per month or 6% pa - basically CPI, so IMO inadequate for delay.
But I expect you will also get another dividend - bid price will be reduced by cash component of div (so no benefit there) but franking credit associated with the div may be useful to you.
And the exchange rate will change - which may be beneficial or may decrease the AUD value of the payout.
