As shareholders (large or small) of any company, we need to be keen and keep in touch with what is happening to the company we have an invested interest in.
If too many of us are blase and take things as they are for granted, the rug would soon be pulled from under us.
In my eyes, Australian Super deserve a huge pat on the back. Not only did they recognise that Australia were about to lose an important energy company to invest in, but also, I think they ran the numbers and realised that ORIGIN had a positive future outlook. You could almost say we received a free financial assessment from a professinal outfit who did their due diligence? (Also in their best interest.)
"Let's hope the ORG is now run for we shareholders and that we can continue to hold onto it" and we hold on to it as a Nation for it to run for Australia.
