What a nice suggestion for an avatar for me! Thank you for that. I was inclining more to a bat or dragon (When my younger daughter was a child, she once said she felt sorry for the “nice ordinary doctor who came up against our family”.) It’s just that an incurable chronic condition in a child never made sense to me. In the end though, it was a team effort.
I’ve taken your suggestion because IMO the butterfly, symbolic of transformation and hope, is perfect for what I see the revolution as. I’ve been banging on about it for some years without fully understanding what's going but having poked around a bit, I think I have a better idea: my take is our species is being shown our chains because we’re being offered the chance to be free.
