@Phaedrus - I've enjoyed your posts and you've been very supportive of Mesoblast...
I was very optimistic in the past, but this year has worn me out
SI, as the CEO, has managed the funding badly.
The reality is if SI has had an alternative to other funding i.e. "royalty monetization (1), including strategic partnerships(2)" - he would have activated this than have a massive dilution at 30c. Look at it from a personal level, he was the 2nd largest SH - and he has had a lot to lose with that dilution.
So, as much as I like to believe in "royalty monetization (1), including strategic partnerships(2)", I believe the most likely scenario is another CR.
But, I'm now waiting to see what transpires rather than having a guess at what SI the CEO will do to "optimize our balance sheet."
I'm still a strong believer of Mesoblast, but I'm not happy with how Mesoblast funding is managed - heck, we don't even have a permanent CFO
