I believe the need for this assay is risk management of upstream CQA’s which may have identified potency shortfalls in the harvesting of cells from the Osiris facilty in the USA, had it been available for use at the time? It may represent also an extremely useful quality control process going forward to monitor factors which influence downstream potency, which will be the envy of the industry if authorised…..another massive IP barrier to entry…but no doubt available for licence at the right price. I suggest JB1975 looks at the MAGIC algorithm for acute GVHD which risk stratifies patients , to see an example of how a panel of data can be forged into a matrix assay shown in terms of straightforward numerical values, below and above the AUC.
