Yes off the top of my head I'm going to guess that song was released in 80 -81 in Australia ...most of the music I listened to back then in the 'mod days' was UK music around that time ....funnily enough like you mentioned about reggae ska ....was a big cross over with the Mod music in Perth with that genre too ...Bands like the Specials, British Beat, The Selector.....my very first concert ever was to see Madness at the Perth Entertainment centre. There were very few Aussie mod bands .....one very obscure one that practically no one knows would be 5.15 ....the closest many aussies would know would be someone like Sunny Boys and this song .....in my mind these guys and this sort of Aussie music were precursors to bands like The Church in the early days



Not too much into Opera I must admit but I do love listening to classical ....just listening to the composition and sound layering teaches you so much about music.
