It's amazing @6151 how the tables have turned on Australia's relative isolation (and NZ for that matter).
I am already hearing from officials overseas, the level of demand and inquiries for temporary and permanent visas to Australia is soaring.
We will have to learn how to safely scale up this hotel quarantine, and no, we shouldn't rely on the stupid Victorians!
The "mass quarantine sites like Christmas and Rottnest Islands have to be the go, I think!
Maybe they can just scrape a damn runway at Badgery's Creek, build a toilet block for Customs and Immigration, then situate a whole lot used container terminals with air conditioners on the spare land and deploy an army of Uber Eat cyclists to feed them!
