sometimes @Nydem you have to go through the worst to get to the best. Thank you for sharing...it reduced me to tears (happy tears!). The will to live, to hope & to have the medical fraternity to care for a living stranger (human & dog) is just so amazing & humbling. Life is precious. Hope your pup is enjoying life & has you well trained, as dogs so often do of their owners!
