Unfortunately we have heard about it over here. It was on national TV news (we do have a national broadcaster which is a good thing imho in this day and age) and probably other media. Recently, some senior tourism or trade industry rep went to the US and when she returned, she was reported as having been asked many times this following question: “How much are we hated by the rest of the world?” A bit of self awareness is always welcome, especially if coming from the ruling class, for foreign relations if nothing else. Moreover, most of us sensible people in this country are now scratching our heads as to whether we should continue to invest a large proportion of our superannuation (private pension) fund assets in the US. It seems that both monetary and non-monetary foreign relations count for nothing in the big, beautiful eyes of your POTUS.
