TESLA OF AUSTRALIA?Timothy Lim asked: Blindsided by the mining boom, the technology boom that occurred across the world has slipped by us. While, in the developing world, India became software engineering giant, China became the factory of the world including advanced tech, Taiwan has emerged as a high tech hardware designer and South Korea has become one of the biggest car and mobile producers. Crucially, Australia does have the technology know-how. However, the current policy setting is going against them. Would it be appropriate to suggest that maybe it’s time for us to start thinking about how to grow the pie instead of how to distribute the pie? Tesla of Australia, how does that sound?
