So, it seems that some of our largest shareholders (funds) are also shorting, which is not surprising when they are motivated to obtain short term/consistent returns for their investors. There is an interesting article in The Economist this week on shorting and the underperformance of many of the funds that focus on this trading strategy. It certainly cheered me up!
