fail to see your logic...someone with a short position ,wants it to go down...for them to buy cheaply ,to have the shares they're contracted to sell..taking on a short position,is agreeing to sell shares they don't have,and hope they can buy cheaper than what they've contracted to sell,hence their profit...high risk
