Being aware of the seriousness of aGVHD shouldn't make it more likely that medical practitioners will grasp at unproven treatments.. The problem with your claim is that Remestemcel hasn't provided high quality evidence of "offering the greatest chance of survival... to what is available now". If that evidence was available, the FDA would have approved it on the first submission of the BLA.
