@stanjupiter I'm a LTH and live in Australia. I underwent emergency spinal surgery to replace a disc month ago and have had severe to agonising pain from something touching the cord over the intervening period. I've lost considerable use of my arms and I'm now undegoing rehab whenever the pain is manageable. Supposedly I will regain use of the arms but four weeks in my improvement is in a few centimetres of movement. In the meantime I'm being pumped full of opioids both time release and regular to allay this pain which might "go away" but may not.
As I write this I'm under the influence of opioids that are only working to a certain extent. Which drug can I ask the physicians to try on me that is approved under certain circumstances in Australia? Thanks for your excellent comments.
