Now if Takeda had only followed the MSB playbook, the trial failure could have been spun as a "success". Although it failed to achieve the primary end point, post trial subgroup analysis of the results revealed that there was an "amazing improvement" in those patients aged between 37.5 and 37.8 years of age with a CRP between 1 and 7, and the next trial will recruit only these patients.
