@JB1975 You make me smile . You thought I made a typo . You think I cannot differentiate between different types of T cells. Give me strength. Effector T cell subsets have a pro inflammatory function and have a pivotal role in defence against pathogens. Th1 cells produce interferon gamma and IL2 to support cell mediated immunity : TH17 cells produce IL 17 . Since differentiation of TH17 and Treg cells is regulated reciprocally by shared and different cytokines, and since each subset can convert to the other under certain inflammatory conditions, it is not surprising that this plays a critically important part in sr aGVHD. The cheek of it all is that I stressed to you in the past that Th1 and Th17 subsets were crucial… now you suggest I am unaware they even exist. What a muppet ! I guess I should mute you … but you do have a certain entertainment value . By all means stimulate a grown up debate since you obviously have a fair deal of scientific knowledge on the subject … but try not to get ahead of yourself. When you can work out the growth factors really responsible for Ryoncil superlative long term mortality data in sr aGVHD we might have another conversation. Toodle pip !
