Yes, the hostile correlation sticks in one's brain.
A similar thing happened, as I recall, with Lennox Walker (long-range weather forecaster from a couple of decades ago) who did an ad for Pope sprinklers, which they played over & over (had a great placement deal, I assume) during the unremitting monsoonal downpour of the '74 floods. Sitting inside, watching TV which could barely be heard over the relentless rain, Lennox would come on every couple of hours & say something like ''As you know, I'm predicting a predominantly hot & dry summer,...". His reputation never really recovered, as I recall.
My guess, NIB will lose business over this one. Technology, eh.
