@benelong Thanks for the link in this post 74301874 It certainly did resonate with me! My eldest daughter’s early scope showed inflammation around the appendix. One of her doctors later mentioned (I think) it can act like a sentinel but I didn’t ask how. Back then, I had it the wrong way around, thinking the appendix was a repository for “bad” bacteria but this article is very interesting and makes a lot of sense.
