2m shares trade in the auction, which is more than the rest of the day's trading and has had no impact on the SP
Assuming no reporting glitches on shorting, then ~23m short positions were closed on 09/08/2022 - without any affect on SP!
Sure the SP has not tanked to the 75c placement strike price, but damn - these sharts are getting off too easily!
