Bapcor Acquisition, page-10

Bought some more today for my wife. Paid about $5.60, and considering broker recommendations go from a bit over $6.00 to the high sixes, a reasonable price I thought for a stock that for the foreseeable future has good reliability of earnings. Yep, electric cars may be a thing of the future but taking TESLA as an example, “there’s many a slip between the cup and the lip”. Electric vehicles may be available, but the take up rate outside high population CBD areas I believe, is a long way off. BAP is well run and has good diversification over a number of automotive areas, and I don’t think that’s about to change suddenly. Sure, there may be short term weakness, but I think that BAP, will show its qualities over time and like cream, rise to the top. I also hold BAP in my SMSF which I bought about $1.95, so that perhaps it’s time in the market that will prove positive, rather than timing. Hoping to have both.......
