Seems to me that a strong capping pattern has developed. It was apparent Nov-Dec and then after a brief break out has now been in place since early Feb. The brief new year break out may also have been actively dragged back to re-establish the capping pattern. I get the impression that the CNJ price just follows BAR where-ever it goes.
Other posters have commented on how large sell orders appear just above the current trading price to encourage those who want/need to sell to drop their sale price. Someone is keen to accumulate as much as they can at these prices. I have noticed in the past when these patterns break down, the price can spike big time - like a dam bursting. However, with the small volumes my guess is that this is a strategic player not a trader - accumulating as much as they can before the big announcement - whatever it is going to be.
