$26m = not in the same league as BARDA support for LANI, but the funding demonstrates that money is available for helping to bring Influenza antivirals forward.
And what of FLUNET?? It still lies dormant in pre-clinical. Maybe Russ Plumb will recognise that grants can be targeted - anything to move the pipeline along adds value to the company - PC does not of course recognise this.
