Wow what a drop! 25%!
What happened? Could it be:
1. Inside information that the flow rates or pressure rates are not as good as expected?
2. Those with the ex right share windfall of $0.08 taking their profits while they can?
3. Punters becoming too scared in the current nervous stock market?
How low do you think it can go?
Depends doesn't it as always. Maybe:
$0.015 if the flow rates are just break even income wise
$0.010 if below break even
$0.001 if market suffers a big crash again
At some stage, and probably not too far away, we are likely also to have to contend with a reorganization of IMP which will usually involves a reduction in the number of shares on issue. Will it be better to be in or at that time?
How high can it go? Possibly:
$0.050 if the flow rates are impressive
$0.10 when and if the next group of wells being drilled bring good results
$higher?
Picking entry and exit prices at the moment is certainly very difficult.
So what will today bring?
1. Bargain hunters buying and a price rise?
2. Buying by some players to try to stop the falling price?
3. A sell down by the big players to try to get cheap shares later?
4. Nervous sellers taking their profits while they still can
5. Another big fall brought about by the falling DOW?
The big question decision.
1. Buy tomorrow; or
2. Wait and see if IMP still has further to fall?
Weighing up the risks:
1. Missing out on a possible big rise; or
2. Loosing your shirt if it falls further.
Which can you live with?
What's it going to be guys?
