Will brokers (selfwealth) automatically update your buy in share price?
Made up example: You bought WOW x 100 shares at $37.00 each.
WOW closed at lets say $42.00 on the demerger date.
POST DEMERGER
You now have 100 WOW shares at $36
+ 100 EDV shares at $6
What is your purchase price for the WOW and EDV shares for calculating profit and loss? Will this automatically be updated because like many my statement is showing a big "paper" loss for WOW as it has the original buy in value amount that has not yet been adjusted.
