Interesting thoughts re heavy mud and would love it to be the case:)

I cant but shake the feeling the approach in the drill could have been better, but thats a potshot from an armchair warrior.

If the mud was overweight and they were plugging away through mudstone - then it would have been pretty bogged up at the drilled bit. Maybe thats why they pulled out before 4000mt ?

Im off to Africa shortly and hope sometime this year to drop in on Mauritania. Will see if any old soaks at the local will reveal the secrets. Ha ha ha. Might have to brush off my cantonese.

I still hold my BKP - but now looking at ROCs campaign in Cabinda. Hope to see this in action shortly.
