from what i've seen analyst estimates are always over bullish when times are good and over bearish when times are bad...
i have and am still making a killing beacuse i bought into Billabong in december after its massive fall. Every analyst then had sell or hold on billabong....and lo in a few months a its back up again....I reckon PE funds are surely running a ruler over David jones right now....they just have to follow the myer case study to see the value..TPG who have just been knocked back by billabong must surely be running a ruler of DJS now...they are one of the main guys who had taken Myer over afterall!
