Somehow their response to the NSE doesn't quite capture how forcefully they inserted themselves into the process several years back does it.
And the the snotty comment about informing their "research partner" (singular) is just basically them putting in the boot.
Very sad that we were forced down this path but I'm not sure how we could have avoided it - it would have been insanity to rebuff their advances several years back when they expressed enthusiasm for a piece of the action.
They really are a basket case, but no consolation in that for us.
