Barnaby wanted to try and sweep all this under the carpet by saying that it is a private matter. Well unfortunately for him there is no private life in politics. Our politicians are expected to be role models and leaders for the nation. Having an affair and getting another man's fiancée pregnant is hardly setting a good example for citizens. It is the magnitude of his deceitful behavior towards his now ex-wife and family that tilted my view to agree with his resignation. Also there is the question of creating positions for his new girlfriend.
