Why on earth did Barnaby bring this up?

We were all prepared to move on and give them privacy and then he has to throw a hand grenade into an interview about his girlfriend's sexual history. Has he no regard for his girlfriend at all? She's pregnant, stressed, an ex-smoker and in a highly vulnerable state, health-wise. Now she'll be scrutinised even more and when the baby is born she'll feel everyone is trying to figure out whether the baby looks like Barnaby. He has just taken away much of the joy she'll feel at being a first-time mum for no good reason.

It's hard to say whether it's just thoughtless or incredibly cruel. But for someone who says he loves families, Barnaby seems exceptionally gifted in bringing heartache to them.

I wish Ms Campion well, and hope she has a healthy pregnancy and trouble free birth. I hope her partner shuts up, mans up, and gives her the support she needs.
