2up, the same applies to other pollies activity in parliament. If I'm a director or local councilor I not only have to declare any interests but also refrain from the discussion/voting on related resolutions. So on that basis how do pollies get to vote on negative gearing, etc when most of them are up to their proverbial neck in it? Yet alone all the other nefarous activities they get involved in.
