I think what's most disappointing is that Barnaby seems to think that if it is proven that there have been no inappropriate travel/expense claims or staff selections that everything should be hunky dory, nothing to see here, move along. What he fails, and STILL amazingly fails to comprehend is that his moral, ethical behaviour and character is just as important to the Australian public as any monetary misappropriation. His blinkered view and subsequent inability to feel some remorse or empathy for the way he has treated his family shows similar to those of a narcissist. You know, last week, narcissism would have been the last thing that came to mind when assessing Barnaby's mental makeup but it's front and centre this week. Or, perhaps watching Rudd deliver his speech at the Press Club on Monday has put narcissism front and centre in my mind....
