Being a Queenslander I've loved Beattie for what he's done here. But last night he was pompous and ungracious, as though all these years of frustration had poured out.

He wouldn't look fellow pannelists in the eye if they held an opposing view, turning away every time he made a point, not wishing to hear the truth told back to him.


Barnaby was red faced with embarassment as this behaviour and rightly so.

Good on you Rudd. We have the world at our feet now. Its great to be a Queenslander, record low unemployment, interest rates @ 7%, no foreign debt, money in the bank (future fund) etc etc etc.

If you haven't relocated here yet you better sell up if you live in the rust belt. The disparity in household wealth will only increase.
