    @JACK; I worked in the Latrobe Valley for almost a decade and count some of those working in those mines as long term friends. The husband of one of my best friends is even a coal mine manager in NSW and one manager in the LV almost became a son-in-law.

    So please take a moment to look at @DrStrangelove's Post #: 54161029 above and think real hard about what's going on since you're at risk of misleading others into thinking coal mining has an exciting long term future - there are boutique opportunities on a small scale for the best of the best!

    Unlike you, my perception is that Old King Coal is effectively dead in the water and that the recent BHP sellout to Glencore is evidence that the sharks are circling - we're seeing corporate raiders, charlatans, opportunists & gullible people with no access to the thousands of inside traders flourishing under Morrison's grossly incompetent and lax financial regime [indeed, a government engaged in rorting and $Feeding $Greed up to eyeballs itself].
