Hi KP and co, who keep me entertained as I read your chat about Proto.
I thought I would just chuck in a thought about the Barnes Hill drilling. You have to remember that this drilling was done to try and improve on the current resource. So releasing a whole lot of drill results, without actually knowing how it affects the resource is a bit meaningless, unless they think it will ramp the SP giving some of you guys that out you want. In reality the resource should be redone and reported. In the interim they may release holes with significant mineralisation that are outside the current resource as that could be encouraging or holes inside that are signicantly better in grade or width within the resource, but in my opinion what ever they release has to be in context of the current resource there.
I would forget about the potential environmental problems of the place for the moment, if they have been given permission to drill in the area that is a good start. For any possible feasability study etc, they will have to do costly environmental baseline surveys etc, which create documents thicker than phonebooks, but that is a long way down the track.
I hope something comes of it for you guys. My money is elsewhere... MHC
