I do think at this stage McGowan would be elected. That eventuality whilst being a lesson to the Libs, could well turn out to be another Rudd/Gillard fiasco as Labor have a reputation for largesse on a grand scale. This time, the Libs won't be leaving any cookies in the jar, so the State's coffers will need to be replenished by Labor's well known path, borrowings, pushing the State even further down the path of indebtedness !
