Have to say, I am very surprised with Barnetts comments and posturing to date about "keeping your hands off Woodside." Given that he has no say and no control as to whether one company is bought out by another. His role is to work with whoever owns the co at the time. Same as the board works with whoever is premier at the time.
Seems to me he is stepping well outside his boundaries. Does he really think any major company looking at a takeover will take any notice of those comments.??
