They aren't deceiving the market because the analysts have already lowered their earnings and dividend forecasts to reflect the impact of the lower almond price. Analysts validate their short-term forecasts with management, so you can have a high level of confidence in what Morgans and GS are indicating for FY16 earnings and dividends.
It is not management's fault if the market chooses to ignore what the analysts are saying.
