I wonder how much ebola is influencing things at the moment. If everyone is too spooked to travel oil consumption drops, and if ebola actually does wipe out a significant number of people across the planet we'll see a huge blow to the economy and there will also be plenty of resources like oil to spare (at least for a fair few years). Whether or not that's at all likely to eventuate is irrelevant at this stage.
