That is terrible...we dont want a takeover anytime soon...we want growth then a TO premium... but i gave you a big thumbs up for making a valid point ... yep they just got 10% cheaper in currency and 14% cheaper on share price... Thats a mighty tidy discount when they are just about to announce a significant increase in production and revenue...
But if i where a tidy balance sheet US company looking for a tuck in immediately postive acqusition I would be betting on another 5c currency drop and a another few dollars in the oil price.... I wouldnt rush in yet...
What a shame LNR and SEA dont get a merger happening 50,000 acres and 16000 boepd would make for a mighty fine company.
