I would prefer a bidder with ASX exposure to rollover shares so I would love to see Rio step up, as many have said they may not be interested because the asset class ( I think this underrates the assets and future potential however). But I really still think Xstrata or someone like them will have shot...
I was very surprised by Barrick Gold, but their strength of offer and finacial balance sheet does make the bid very solid. Not bad...
